SEWING MACHINE

He was born in 1983 in Akhisar district of Manisa. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Akhisar. He became actively interested in theater since his high school years. He worked as an actor and director in many private theaters. While his engineering education and business life in that field continued, he started his productions by focusing on photography and cinema studies since 2012. He took part in many festivals at home and abroad and was deemed worthy of awards with his first experimental short film called “Entropy”. Then, he received awards from many festivals with his short film script titled “Barcode”. In 2019, he also appeared as an actor in the fictional short film “Dragon”, for which he wrote the script.
In 2020, he completed his second undergraduate education at Istanbul University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. In 2021, he produced and directed the short documentary film “Isolation” about the first days of the pandemic. In 2022, he made an experimental short film called “Clothesline” and in 2023 he made a fictional short film called “Sewing Machine”. The director, who attaches importance to both theoretical and practical education, continues his education at Anadolu University Visual Communication Design department and continues his engineering life and artistic works in Fethiye district of Muğla.
